The first of the clarinets available is the Chinese-made entry-level clarinet from Prelude. In an effort to compete in the inexpensive end of the clarinet market, all of the major clarinet makers are beginning to produce what are best decribed as trial instruments. These instruments are designed with concerned parents in mind. If the student or parent is unsure whether the potential or interest is long-term, these instruments are reasonably priced with the advice that if the interest is long-term, the instrument should be upgraded after a year or two of study.The Prelude by Conn-Selmer is an excellent lightweight clarinet made from ABS Resin. This lightweight substance and nickel-plated keys mean that it is designed with the beginner in mind. By having a light instrument it means that when beginning, the student will be able to hold the instrument for longer(i.e. more practise!). It comes complete with reeds and case. Buffet B-10 €429

The first of the clarinets available is the European-made entry-level clarinet by Buffet. The B10 is an excellent lightweight clarinet made from luraton. This lightweight substance and nickel-plated keys mean that it is designed with the younger beginner in mind. It also has black plasctic rings. By having a light instrument it means that when beginning, the student will be able to hold the instrument for longer(i.e. more practise!). It comes complete with reeds and case. The outfit works out at €429.

Jupiter JCL-631 €399

The next clarinet that we carry is made by Jupiter. The 631 is a good budget, lightweight student instrument. It has silver-plated keys and an adjustable thumbrest. It comes complete with case, reeds and pull-through. It sells at €399

Buffet B-12 €475

The next clarinet that we carry is also made by Buffet. The B12 is very similar to the B10. It is slightly heavier due to silver plated rings and keys. Otherwise it is the same and comes complete with a Jakob Winter case with an anti-accidental opening safeguard. It includes a pull through some reeds and an adjustable thumbrest for extra comfort. It costs €475.

Buffet E11 New Outfit €995

The intermediate instruments start with the Buffet E11. It is Buffet's entry-level wooden instrument. This clarinet is made from african blackwood and silver plated keys. The wooden body gives a rich tone to the instrument and this creates a great instrument for intermediate to advanced students. The outfit comes complete with case, reeds, pull-through and retails at €995

Jupiter JCL-737 €850

The JCL-737 Bb grenadilla wood clarinet features with comfortable playing and fingering by its ergonomic key mechanism and tone holes design. The ergonomic key mechanism and levers with high tension blue steel spring provide smooth and balanced key works. The uplifted G/C key and ergonomic tone hole edge cut leads a comfortable fingering touch.

The next clarinet that we carry is the popular Buffet E13. It is made from high grade Ebony and comes with silver plated keys. It also comes with reeds and of course the Jakob Winter case. The Buffet Vintage Prestige Clarinet was designed especially for the American sound of the 1950s R13 clarinet. The clarinet has the same bore as a prestige clarinet. The Vintage clarinet is an 18 key, 6 ring unstained african blackwood. It has silver plated keys and it also has gore-tex pads.
